Dr. Carl E. Livingston is originally from Detroit Michigan where he was born and educated.  He was raised by his mother and grandmother along with 8 siblings, all of whom completed High School and some whom completed college and graduate school.  Dr. Livingston has been married for 23 years to the former Yolanda Olive.  They have a daughter named Jireh who is 11 years old.  Dr. Livingston is the Pastor/Teacher of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN for the past 14 years. 
Dr. Livingston is a highly respected preacher and Bible teacher by his peers.  His congregation was recognized as the Best Baptist Church in Clarksville two years in a row by the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce.  In addition to his pastoral duties, Dr. Livingston is a professor at the Hopkinsville College of the Bible in Hopkinsville, KY where he teaches Homiletics and Biblical Studies.  He was elected and serves as the president of the Pastors’ & Ministers’ Conference for the Cumberland River District since 2014.  Moreover, Dr. Livingston has over 20 years of service in the United States Armed Services.  He is presently the Deputy Command Chaplain for the 46th Military Police Command of Lansing Michigan in the Michigan Army National Guard.  He recently received his promotion orders for the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.     
Dr. Livingston is a graduate of William Tyndale College of Farmington Hills, Michigan where he earned his Associate of Liberal Arts and his Bachelor of Social Science degree.  He is also a graduate of Faith Evangelical Seminary of Tacoma Washington, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree and where he is presently enrolled in their Doctoral Program with an emphasis on Strategic Leadership.  Dr. Livingston has also completed four other degree programs through residence and distance learning to include a Master of Biblical Studies Degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree. Furthermore, he is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and he has completed several counseling and professional certifications programs. 
Dr. Livingston is a recipient of several awards and recognitions to include: The David Fairless Public Speaking Award, Strauss Expository Preaching Award, Tyndale English Grammar Award, Nashville Trailblazer Award, Magnificent Man Award, 13 Full Marathon Completion Medals (26.2 miles each), two combat tours to Operation Desert Shield/Storm, and Operation New Dawn.  Dr. Livingston is the author of Man College 101 a mentoring program for young men designed to teach them responsibility, accountability, and dependability.  His rule for living is to never face the day without facing God first.
